THE STEVE GRIMMETT BAND Name Situation Clarified
March 21, 2008THE STEVE GRIMMETT BAND, the new U.K.-based group led by former GRIM REAPER/ONSLAUGHT singer Steve Grimmett, has issued the following update:
"We have had a number of enquiries regarding the live set and the advertising of different names to promote the band. This has caused confusion with fans who want us to clarify what material is to be played live.
"With immediate effect the band will be promoted as STEVE GRIMMETT, the live set will include material from GRIM REAPER, LIONSHEART and Steve's new release 'Personal Crisis'. Although the set may vary to suit the event this will be applicable for all future shows.
"It will be too late to change the bands name on some advertising campaigns that are currently running but the set will be as detailed above.
"We would like to thank you all for your feedback and comments and we hope this will demonstrate that we play for you the fans first and foremost. The set will certainly meet with your expectations."
STEVE GRIMMETT has been confirmed for the Z Rock 08 festival, set to take place May 16-17 at The Asylum, Hampton Street, Hockley, Birmingham, England. Steve last performed at Z Rock in 2004 with his previous band LIONSHEART.
